However, this does not mean that all plants contain essential oils. Essential oils have been known to be used in aromatherapy to help de-stress, help with muscle pain, skin problems and more.

The Benefits of Peppermint Oil

Our next essential oil is peppermint oil! Peppermint oil will be in one of the main ingredients in our mint coffee premium bar soaps.

Peppermint oil can help soothe and calm your itchy skin or infection.

How does it work? Peppermint contains menthol which provides the oil with a variety of properties such as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and analgesic. The anti-inflammatory property helps reduces the area of irritation and soothes the skin with its analgesic property. Do be careful when just using peppermint oil because it has a high level of menthol which can cause more irritation to the skin.

Peppermint can also help relieve bug bites too.
