Did you know that
soap has been around for since the ancient Babylon? The earliest record of soap
started in 2800 BC, in ancient Babylon. Babylonians used water, alkali, and cassia
oil as ingredients for their soap. In 1550, in Egypt, history shows that
Egyptian used a combination of animal and vegetable oils with an alkaline salt
to form their soap. The soap comes from the word sapo, Latin for soap.
