The Benefits of Olive Oil

Our third essential oil is olive oil!

Did you know that olive oil can smooth and soften your skin? Using olive oil for winter skin dryness can do wonders! Olive oil can help protect and moisturize your skin, keeping it from being dry and flaky. It’s also great for sensitive skin!

How does it work? Olive oil contains vitamin E, like palm oil, and the antioxidant helps protect your skin from external factors. Olive oil also contains hydrating squalene, a common lipid that is naturally produced by your skin’s cells to help prevent the skin’s natural oil from oxidizing. This lipid allows olive oil to help with skin’s dryness, eczema, psoriasis, and acne.

Olive oil does not clog the pores, so it can do wonders for those who suffer from acne.

Do you remember what other oil helps with skin dryness and acne? That’s right- coconut oil! All of our, Fivesso premium quality bar soap, essential oils contain so many great benefits! Check out our next blog for more benefits of olive oil!

The Benefits of Coconut Oil- part 3

Are you ready for more benefits of coconut oil?

Here we go! Coconut oil is also an anti-aging remedy, it can help fight those aging signs such as fine lines and wrinkles.

How does it work? Coconut oil contains antioxidants that can slow the elasticity in your skin from breaking down. The breakdown of the elasticity naturally occurs as we age, causing wrinkles and fine lines. Coconut oil can help slow down the breaking of the elasticity, leaving your skin looking healthier, smoother, and younger looking. (Now that’s a hold!)

Not only does coconut oil help slow the degrading of your skin elasticity, it also contains SPF that can protect your skin from the sun! Although it’s not as strong as when applying sunblock, coconut oil can provide additional protection from the sun. (Remember to wear sunblock!)

Palm oil and coconut oil have wonderful benefits that will leave your skin looking and feeling younger. Two oils down and three more to go, come back and check out what the third oil is in our next blog!

The Benefits of Coconut Oil- part 2

Not only does coconut oil prevent and fight acne, coconut oil can also help cleanse and moisturize your skin!

Coconut oil is a wonderful moisturizer that will leave your skin clean without the greasy feeling of an oil! You just need to control the amount being used, a little goes a long way.

How does it work? Coconut oil does not just have the Lauric and Capric acids, mentioned in the previous post, it also contains: calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese, zinc, iron, vitamins C and E, and selenium all which can help provide and replenish nutrients for your skin, allowing your skin to be moisturized and hydrated. (That’s a lot of nutrients helping your skins!)

How does it clean? When applied on the skin coconut oil will remove the dirt and dead skin cells on your skin, while replenishing your skin with all its wonderful nutrients. (Sounds familiar? That’s right: palm oil removes dirt and oil as well!)

Coconut oil is also an all-natural, chemically free make-up remover! Coconut oil gives you a 3 in 1 deal, it’s a cleanser, make-up remover, and skin nourishing oil. That’s a wonderful oil! Check out of next blog for more benefits of coconut oil!

The Benefits of Coconut Oil

Our second essential oil is the coconut oil!

Did you know that coconut oil helps fight acne? There is a layer of your skin that helps reduce and prevent acne, but it’s constantly being removed by washing and wiping of the skin. Coconut oil contains two powerful antimicrobial agents, Capric and Lauric acid, that helps replace and replenish this layer of your skin. By restoring and replacing this layer, it can help fight acne, relieve inflammation, reduce acne scars, nourish the skin, and prevent new acne scars from occurring. (That’s amazing!)

How does it do this? When applied to the skin, good microbial agents will convert Capric and Lauric acid into Monocaprin and Monolaurin. Converting these acids will replenish and protect the layer of your skin allowing it to prevent acne from forming. (Shield on!)

Coconut oil helps your skin healer quicker, which results in fewer acne scars, stains, marks, and black dots on your skin.

Fighting acne is just one of the benefits of coconut oil! Find out what other benefits the coconut oil has in our upcoming blogs.

The Benefits of Palm Oil- part 4

One last crucial benefit that palm oil provides is the removal of dirt and oil from your skin. Palm oil does this by “attaching” itself to the dirt and oil and then removing it from your skin.

How is palm oil different? Unlike most soaps and shampoos that remove away all the oil from your hair and body, palm oil contains a refatting agent that will help restore the natural and essential oil necessary for your hair and body.

How does palm oil work? Using its refatting agent and two essential vitamins, palm oil goes deep into the skin’s layer to restore, renew, re-moisturize, prevent, and fight free radicals allowing your skin to look younger and healthier.

How great are the benefits of palm oil?! Palm oil is ONE of the essential oils in Fivesso! Be sure to check out our next blog to see what the other four are!

The Benefits of Palm Oil part 3

Are you ready for the next benefit of palm oil?

Palm oil can prevent free radical from ever forming at all! Let’s recall what free radicals are, free radicals are molecules that can cause wrinkles and fine lines in your skin.

How do free radicals generate in your skin? When your skin is exposed to our ozone, lipids (fats) in your skin can be damaged or oxidize causing free radicals to form. Free radicals do not only create fine lines and wrinkles, they have also been proven to be an underlying cause of many skin diseases, including cancer. (Pesky free radicals!)

How does palm oil prevent free radicals from forming? Tocotrienols! That's right! Remember Tocotrienols is a stronger form of vitamin E found in palm oil. Dr. Betty Kamen, Ph.D. noted that Tocotrienols has been proven to be 40-60 times more powerful in preventing lipid pre-oxidation. (That’s pretty strong!)

Who knew that your skin can be damaged that easily? Fivesso can help your skin to prevent and fight free radicals with our all natural, organic premium quality bar soap and scrubs!

The Benefits of Palm Oil part 2

Not only does palm oil contain the strong and hard to find tocotrienols (members of the vitamin E family), it also contains high levels of vitamin A.

What does Vitamin A do for your skin? Vitamin A, which is known as the skin’s most important fat-soluble nutrient, can help improve skin elasticity, enhance new skin cell growth, re-texturize, and thicken the epidermal and dermal skin.

What does this mean? This means that palm oil contains two essential vitamins that can help fight those pesky free radicals and promote healthier, younger looking skin.

The essential vitamin A and vitamin E are a few of the main reasons that Fivesso has chosen palm oil as a crucial ingredient for our all-natural, organic coffee bar soap and coffee scrubs.

Find out what other benefits palm oil has in our next blog. Be on the lookout for our all natural, organic premium quality bar soap and scrubs in the coming months!
