Are you ready for more benefits of coconut oil?

Here we go! Coconut oil is also an anti-aging remedy, it can help fight those aging signs such as fine lines and wrinkles.

How does it work? Coconut oil contains antioxidants that can slow the elasticity in your skin from breaking down. The breakdown of the elasticity naturally occurs as we age, causing wrinkles and fine lines. Coconut oil can help slow down the breaking of the elasticity, leaving your skin looking healthier, smoother, and younger looking. (Now that’s a hold!)  

Not only does coconut oil help slow the degrading of your skin elasticity, it also contains SPF that can protect your skin from the sun! Although it’s not as strong as when applying sunblock, coconut oil can provide additional protection from the sun. (Remember to wear sunblock!)

Our second essential oil is the coconut oil!

Coconut oil contains two powerful antimicrobial agents, Capric and Lauric acid, that helps replace and replenish this layer of your skin. By restoring and replacing this layer, it can help fight acne, relieve inflammation, reduce acne scars, nourish the skin, and prevent new acne scars from occurring. (That’s amazing!)

How does it do this? When applied to the skin, good microbial agents will convert Capric and Lauric acid into Monocaprin and Monolaurin. Converting these acids will replenish and protect the layer of your skin allowing it to prevent acne from forming. (Shield on!)
