Did you know that in ancient Greece, Greeks would use
perfumed on themselves to please the gods? Believing that any substances coming
from plants had spiritual qualities, the Greeks would use herbs and perfume oil
to honor their deities in festivals. The Greeks would also use perfumed oil on
themselves as well to please the gods. Unlike other societies, perfumed oil was
used in all levels of society.
